It all started in 2016 when Tenzin, a local guide from McLeod Ganj, began taking small groups of friends on weekend treks. What started as informal adventures soon turned into something bigger.
Travelers kept coming back, bringing their friends, sharing their stories. They weren't just looking for tour operators – they wanted companions who understood the mountains, respected the culture, and cared about their experience.
That's when The Travel Sathi was born. "Sathi" means companion in Hindi – and that's exactly what we aim to be. Not just guides, but friends who share your passion for exploration.
